Industrial Design

by | Jul 30, 2021

The role of an industrial design in the product development process is to establish the design language of a product as well as the corporate branding and identity.

While most people know their own preferences and those of friends and family, an industrial designer combines a creative design element with a much deeper understanding of markets and trends. In an increasingly globalized product market, this is more important than ever.

Industrial design examines function and form – and the connection between product, user and environment.

In general, industrial designers work on a small scale such as electronics housings and mechanical parts rather than the overall design of complex systems such as buildings or ships.

01

Sketching

A sketch (ultimately from Greek σχέδιος – schedios, “done extempore”) is a rapidly executed freehand drawing that is not usually intended as a finished work. A sketch may serve a number of purposes: it might record something that the artist sees, it might record or develop an idea for later use or it might be used as a quick way of graphically demonstrating an image, idea or principle. We are always offering such sketches to have a common vision with our Customers.

02

3D rendering

3D rendering is the 3D computer graphics process of converting 3D models into 2D images on a computer. 3D renders may include photorealistic effects or non-photorealistic styles.

We will create an eye-catching visualization of your product. We focus on the visualization in detail and we operate outside the box.

3D-print

CAD software is used to increase the productivity of the designer, improve the quality of design, improve communications through documentation, and create a database for manufacturing. CAD output is often in the form of electronic files for print / 3D-print, machining, or other manufacturing operations.

Rule of thumb – do not start PCB design without defined enclosure (case) requirements and dimensions.

3D-print service for prototyping support. A real physical evaluation is always better than just a picture!
